Ram Charan wins hearts at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards 2023 as RRR wins 4 trophies

Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR is not agreeing to slow down even after almost a year of its release. The global recognition it has received, made it a favourite in the ongoing international award season. And now, the film has added 4 more laurels to the list as it won big at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards 2023.

The Global Star has become a representation of Indian cinema on world stage. During HCA 2023, the actor became the first Indian to present an award at the prestigious event. He also accompanied director SS Rajamouli to the stage while receiving the award for Best International Film for RRR.

All suited up in a tuxedo with a bow tie, the star looked quite dapper. Very excitedly, he spoke about how he is extremely grateful for the love and support pouring in for the film as he went on stage. He said in his speech, “I did not expect to come up on stage as my director just told me to accompany him. Thank you so much for giving us all this love and this is just a great response, and we will come back with better films and entertain you more, thank you HCA, thank you so much.”

The star’s short and crisp speech brought smiles on audience’s faces! Ram has left everyone impressed with his sharp sense of style, humble attitude, folded hands and astute comments.

RRR wins 4 awards at HCA 2023

Apart from Best International Film, RRR also bagged the award for Best Action Film. In the latter category, it emerged victorious over acclaimed international films like The Batman and Top Gun: Maverick. It also won the award for Best Stunts and Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu. The hype for the song winning at Oscars 2023 has got all the more stronger with this win. Apart from the competitive categories, RRR also received an honorary Spotlight Award at the event.
