RRR actor Ray Stevenson passes away at 58, SS Rajamouli and Jr NTR express shock

Ray Stevenson, who played British Governor Scott Buxton in Oscar winning director SS Rajamouli’s RRR, is no more. RRR actor Ray Stevenson passed away at the age of 58. The official social media handles of RRR shared the sad news.

SS Rajamouli and Jr NTR took to their respective social media handles to pay tribute to Ray Stevenson. SS Rajamouli shared a photo with Ray on his Instagram Stories and wrote, “Shocking… Just can’t believe this news. Ray brought in so much energy and vibrancy with him to the sets. It was infectious. Working with him was pure joy. My prayers are with his family. May his soul rest in peace.”

Jr NTR also remembered him. The actor tweeted, “Shocked to hear about Ray Stevenson’s passing. Gone too soon. It was a great experience working with him. May his soul rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and dear ones during this difficult time.”

Apart from RRR, Ray Steveson was also known for playing an Asgardian warrior in the Thor films, and was also a part of HBO’s Rome. The official handle of Thor shared a picture of Ray and captioned it as, “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ray Stevenson, who brought humour and wit to the character of Volstagg. He was a wonderful actor who will be deeply missed, and our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.”
