Shantanu Maheshwari Expresses Gratitude After Love In Vietnam Win At Seoul Global Movie Awards; Calls It A Huge Milestone

Shantanu Maheshwari’s recently released film Love in Vietnam has hit a big milestone with two big wins at the 2025 Seoul Global Movie Awards in Korea. Besides the film being showcased in India, it was earlier this year screened at the DaNang Asian Film Festival in Vietnam, and now a special screening for the Korean audience, with winning awards, has been the cherry on the cake for Shantanu and the entire cast and crew.

Globe-trotting for the film has been an integral part of Shantanu’s year. He shares his excitement on winning big at the Seoul Global Movie Awards, “It was such an unbelievable moment to witness Love in Vietnam picking up not just one, but two awards at the Seoul Global Movie Awards. This is a huge milestone! It’s the very first time an Indian film has won two awards there. That made our victory feel even more special, and honestly, it was surreal”.

“Meeting so many incredible Korean stars and veteran actors in the audience was a dream come true. And just stepping onto that stage, getting recognised internationally for our film, felt like a beautiful dream I didn’t want to wake up from. I’m truly grateful to see the film being accepted so well on such respected International platforms”, shared Shantanu.

“It was so touching to see the Korean audience’s enthusiasm. They were genuinely excited about watching the film on it’s releases there. I want to thank Rahhat sir for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of this film. I missed the rest of our team, especially those who couldn’t be there. This entire experience in Seoul has been unforgettable”, concluded Shantanu.
