Amitabh Bachchan is set to welcome two special contestants on the show Kaun Banega Crorepati, his wife, Jaya Bachchan and son, Abhishek Bachchan. They are set to make an appearance on the show. In his birthday special episode, Jaya Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will be seen joining Amitabh Bachchan. A promo of the birthday special episode, scheduled to air on October 11, was released by the makers on Instagram.

The promo video opens with Sr Bachchan being surprised as the hooter buzzes before time out. Big B gets surprised as the game ended so soon. The video then features Abhishek Bachchan, who is seated at the hot seat. The Dasvi actor gives his father a surprise. He announces with one of Amitabh Bachchan’s popular dialogues and says, “Bula lete hai, rishte me jo humari ma lagti hain (Let’s call, the one who is my mother by relationship).”

Jaya Bachchan makes a stunning entry in a white embroidered suit. She gives Big B a surprise. The couple shares a warm embrace and Sr Bachchan gets emotional. Further in the video, Jaya Bachchan makes a revelation on national television. She says, “Darshako ke liye main batana chahti hu… (I want to tell the audience…).” Amitabh Bachchan breaks into tears as his wife makes a revelation. The Goodbye actor is seen wiping his tears with a tissue paper later.

Sr Bachchan will be celebrating his 80th birthday on October 11. The actor has resumed work after a short break after contracting COVID-19.
