‘Sacred Games 2’ released on Netflix in India on August 15. It is currently streaming on the OTT platform and fans are going gaga over the series. But one scene has landed into trouble. Well, there is one scene in the series where we see Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) throwing his ‘kada’ (a bangle that is mostly worn by Sikhs and has religious significance) in the sea. This scene didn’t go well with Delhi MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who is also a member of the Akali Dal. He has slammed Netflix and Anurag Kashyap for the scene. He wants the particular scene to be removed from ‘Sacred Games 2’ and if they don’t do so, he has threatened to take legal action.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa took to his Twitter handle to demand the removal of the scene. He wrote, “I wonder why Bollywood continues to disrespect our religious symbols! Anurag Kashyap deliberatly puts this scene in #SacredGamesS2 where Saif Ali Khan throws his Kada in sea! A KADA is not an ordinary ornament. It’s the pride of Sikhs & a blessing of Guru Sahib”.

He also posted yet another video on Twitter warning Anurag Kashyap. He said that he should study the scriptures of Sikhs and Hindus before portraying the characters negatively in his projects just for entertainment or sensationalism.
