Barkha Singh Reveals Pankaj Tripathi’s Advice That Helped Her Conquer Self-Doubt On Criminal Justice 4 Shoot; Says, “Kal Aana Aur Macha Dena”

With a growing lineup of major projects, Barkha Singh is now gearing up for her next big leap in the 4th season of the critically acclaimed and widely loved series Criminal Justice with Pankaj Tripathi. Reflecting on the same, Barkha revealed how Pankaj Tripathi stepped in with his advice, ”Working with industry stalwarts has its distinct advantages. An interaction that stayed with me happened among the first few days when we were shooting a very important and technical scene. And I was unhappy with the way I performed it. I felt I should have taken another approach, which would have been better.”

She added, “Naturally, I was a little upset by the time we wrapped because it was too late to ask Rohan sir for another take or to re-do the scene. It was the first time I had ever felt that way after a scene. Pankaj Sir sensed it and told, ‘Yeh sab hota rehta hai, bade bade actor ke saath bhi hota hai… yeh udaasi set pe hi chhod kar jaana, ghar pe mat leke jana. Kal aana aur macha dena!’ And that little pep talk was all I needed to feel better!”

While the makers are keeping Barkha’s role tightly under wraps, her brief yet striking appearance in the trailer has already piqued curiosity. Her intense expressions and emotionally charged presence suggest a layered character, marking a possible departure from her familiar ‘girl-next-door’ image to something darker and more nuanced.
