Netflix is turning up the heat with the return of four of its most-loved series: Black Warrant and Maamla Legal Hai. Maamla Legal Hai And Black Warrant Renew For Season 2
Maamla Legal Hai Season 2
After capturing hearts in Season 1, Maamla Legal Hai is all set to stream on Netflix soon. The streaming giant announced that filming for Season 2 has commenced and shared a series of photos unveiling the cast for the upcoming season. In their caption, Netflix teased fans with, “Order, order! Tareek milne wali hai… laughter ki. Maamla Legal Hai Season 2 is coming soon only on Netflix!”
Ravi Kishan will return as VD Tyagi, the president of the bar association at Patparganj court. Anjum Batra’s character Mintu, is also back to assist Kishan’s VD Tyagi. Nidhi Bisht, famous for her memorable line “Didi dalil nahi deti, didi khud dalil hai,” will reprise her role. Additionally, Naila Grewal and Anant V Joshi are set to return as well.
Excitingly, comedian and actress Kusha Kapila has joined the cast. Also seen will be Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Niharu, though details about his role remain under wraps. The season is penned by Kunal Aneja, Shadan Syed, Tatsat Pandey, and Mohak Aneja.
Black Warrant Season 2
It’s a dramatised retelling of the book ‘Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailer’ by Sunil Gupta and Sunetra Choudhury. This prison drama offered an unflinching look into the Indian prison system through memorable characters. Audiences were introduced to themes of power, justice, survival, and the harsh realities of Tihar Jail. Zahan Kapoor, as Sunil Kumar Gupta, emerged as a breakout star of the series. It has been praised for its authenticity and bold storytelling. The caption read, “Welcome to Season 2, Jailer sahab.Black Warrant Season 2 is coming soon, only on Netflix.”
