“I used the word not knowing the exact meaning of it,” Yuvika said. The actress stated that she said it in fun, but it soon started trending on Twitter. While she apologised immediately, it had already been picked up across social media. “It was not intentional; I didn’t mean to hurt anyone. And one can see in the video too that I didn’t say it seriously,” clarified Yuvika.

Further talking about the backlash, Yuvika said that this is the first time she got trolled like this. “I don’t even engage in things like these which may take a wrong turn. But there are times when one doesn’t realise and ends up saying something,” she added.

The Bigg Boss 9 contestant further added that she keeps away from reacting to a political situation or anything else. “In the video too, I was only saying it to myself and not to someone else,” she told. Yuvika added that she realised that people were hurt and hence she went on to apologise. Lastly, the actress shared that she loves peace and is not a person to ever trouble others.
