Aamir Khan CONFIRMS Cameo In Rajinikanth, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie; Says, “I Did Not Even Hear The Script”

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has officially confirmed that he will appear in a cameo role in Rajinikanth’s upcoming action thriller Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Rumours about Aamir’s role in Coolie began circulating in August 2024. Fuel was added to the speculation when Lokesh Kanagaraj posted a picture with Aamir Khan on March 24, which appeared to be from the sets of Coolie.

Aamir Khan Confirms Explosive Cameo in Rajinikanth’s Coolie

A fan asked Aamir about the long-standing rumours of his cameo, in a recent interview with Zoom. While initially hesitant, Aamir eventually confirmed his involvement and revealed that he immediately agreed to the project without even reading the script.

A fan questioned him about his role in Coolie and said, “Yaar ye to bada mushkil sawaal pooch rahe hai (You’re asking me a difficult question. I am not allowed to answer all this. You’re putting me in a difficult situation. So, yes, I am doing a film with Lokesh and I am playing a cameo in ‘Coolie’.”

Talking about how he came onboard ‘Coolie’, he explained, “I really enjoyed doing it and working with Rajini. I am big, huge fan of Rajini. I have a lot of love and respect for Rajini sir. So, I did not even hear the script. When Lokesh told me he wanted me to do a cameo in Rajini sir’s movie, I said, ‘Done. Whatever it is, I am doing it.'”

He further added, “I am also doing a proper film with Lokesh Kanagaraj. After he finishes ‘Kaithi 2’, then he and I are doing a film next year – second half of the year.”
