Talking to the media, Aamir said that he was awestruck by Sridevi and a huge fan of her. “So first time when I just had just become an actor, for some magazine cover me and she were shooting for it. I was so excited about it, I think we had shot in centaur for that and I had to pose with her but I didn’t look in her eyes because when I used to look into her eyes I used to get stuck and I had a fear that she will come to know that I have a crush on her. She was a fantastic actor.”

The ‘Dangal’ actor also divulged that he had suggested Mahesh Bhatt make a film inspired by ‘Roman Holiday’ having Sridevi opposite him. He said, “I had suggested Bhatt Saab that let’s make a Hindi remake of ‘Roman Holiday’ in which me and Sridevi can act together. Then Bhatt Saab got up and remove a fat book from the shelf and said if you like ‘Roman Holiday’ read ‘It Happened One Night’ which inspired ‘Roman Holiday’ and that’s how we made ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin’.”

Aamir is currently gearing up for ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ that is releasing on November 8.
