Ahead Of Kesari 2 Release, Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday & R. Madhavan Seek Blessing at Golden Temple

The journey of Kesari 2 has officially begun on a spiritual note. Lead stars Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday, and R Madhavan were recently spotted at the revered Golden Temple in Amritsar, seeking divine blessings. Dresses in traditional attires, the cast penned heartfelt note after the visit and cherished the experience.

The team of Kesari 2 visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar to seek blessings ahead of the film’s release. Actor Ananya Panday shared a photo from the visit, featuring herself alongside co-stars in front of the temple. Sharing the photo, she wrote, “Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh #KesariChapter2.” Akshay Kumar also shared the same picture from Golden Temple, and wrote, “Sar Jhukaya, Sukoon Paya”.

While Madhavan penned heartfelt note reminiscing his glorious journey. He wrote, “25 Glorious, Wonderful, Rewarding and Blessed years as a Film actor … Journeys beyond my wildest dreams…with Ecstasy and Agony for constant companion, yet with all the LOVE earned that overwhelms my Heart to this day.And So … during this very spontaneous Pilgrimage on this very Auspicious and Special day (14th April 2000 when my FIRST FILM ALAIPAYUTHEY Released. Just To Surrender and show GRATITUDE for all the blessings that can either be Explained nor Justified.. Thank You and Guide me (sic).”

About the movie

Kesari 2 is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and backed by powerhouse production companies Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, and Leo Media Collective. It dives into the story of one of India’s most pivotal legal battles. The film is based on the life of lawyer C Sankaran Nair, who fought against the British to unravel the truth behind the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. It is touted to be a sequel to the 2019 film Kesari. That was inspired by the historic Battle of Saragarhi. It is adapted from the book The Case That Shook The Empire.
