Alia Bhatt recently attended the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award ceremony. The actress made a stylish appearance in a white embroidered saree at the event. Ranbir Kapoor, who is currently busy fulfilling his work commitments, won the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for Best Actor for his performance in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. Alia went on stage to accept the award on his behalf. The actress had a big smile on her face.
For the uninitiated, Alia too won the Best Actress award at the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi.

On the other hand, pictures of Alia and veteran actress Rekha sharing a hug at the event went viral on social media. Rekha and Alia were happy to see each other at the event.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh. The upcoming film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. Alia and Ranveer were earlier seen together in Gully Boy. Fans are beyond excited to see them onscreen together. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is slated to release in July, 2023.
Apart from this, Alia is set to make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone which also stars Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo and Matthias Schweighofer.
Talking about Ranbir, he is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar with Shraddha Kapoor. The Luv Ranjan directorial is slated to release on 8th March, 2023. Apart from this, Ranbir will be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
