Alia Bhatt promises to be ‘better and work harder’ as SOTY completes 10 years

Alia Bhatt made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year. The actress won hearts as Shanaya Singhania. She shared screen space with Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in the film. Today, Alia, Varun and Sidharth’s debut film Student of the Year completes 10 years. On this special day, Alia took to her Instagram and shared a mesmerising picture of herself. She also penned a heartwarming note.

Alia is all smiles in the picture. She wrote, “10 years today… and I am so so grateful… EVERY SINGLE DAY!! I promise to be better – dream deeper – work harder!!! Thank you for the magic… love love and only love.”

Reacting to Alia’s post, Kareena Kapoor Khan commented, “The Best there is (heart eyes emoji)” Janhvi Kapoor dropped a bunch of heart emojis on the post. Fans too showered on her. A fan dropped a comment saying, “So proud of you Alia.” Another one commented, “Wow.” “Gorgeous,” wrote a fan. Another one commented, “Wow so cute.”

Alia is one of the most talented and versatile actors in Bollywood. She made her acting debut with SOTY and then there was no looking back for her. The actress has proved her mettle as an artist with various projects such as Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Dear Zindagi, Raazi, and Udta Punjab among others. The stunning actress recently delivered a terrific performance as Isha in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. Alia romanced husband-actor Ranbir Kapoor in the film. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and Shah Rukh Khan also featured in the film.

Alia has a lot in store for her fans. The mommy-to-be will be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. She is also set to make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone co-starring Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo and Matthias Schweighofer.
