10 years of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani: Kalki Koechlin says, ‘we’ve all grown’ and we feel it

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has completed 10 years of its release and fans are reminiscing about each and every dialogue of it. Moreover, the movie was not just a movie but was an emotion for many. They related to the movie on so many levels that it eventually became one of the iconic films. As it completes a decade, the stars of the movie and filmmaker are remembering the memories.

While Ayan shared how special the movie was, Kalki Koechlin said how we’ve all grown in 10 years and we felt that. Kalki who played the role of Aditi in YJHD wrote, “How we’ve all grown and learnt since then. And yet some things I can’t imagine any different. Like Deepika will always be teaching us a dance step we can’t follow. Aditya will always be our big Lebowski. Ranbir will always play a prank that makes us squeal. And Ayan will always ask us uncomfortably personal questions that lead to the best conversations. Loved the memories we collected here, happy 10 years guys.”

Ayan penned a long note as he wrote, “Making this movie was one of the greatest joys of my life! And what we achieved with it – with all its perfections and imperfections – is a source of great eternal pride for me!” He mentioned that he has never watched Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani from beginning to end. Mukerji also added how people are only talking about YJHD to him instead of Brahmastra lately.
