Brahmastra trailer: Ranbir Kapoor is out to save the world in the visual extravaganza

Its finally here! Yes, the trailer of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is out and fans just can’t keep calm. The visual extravaganza will blow your mind with its out of world VFX and action. Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva is out to save the world with Alia Bhatt beside him in the Brahmastra trailer.

The three-minute trailer packs heavy impressive VFX shots, and is destined to become Bollywood’s biggest fantasy adventure.

In the Brahmastra trailer we see Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva, a boy-next-door who meets the love of his life Isha(Alia Bhatt). Shiva soon realises that ancient forces are facing off in the battle to get their hands on the Brahmastra. We see glimpses of the good guys: Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna. Mouni Roy is the film’s villain. Amitabh Bachchan’s character tells Shiva how he is connected to this world of astras. Shiva then takes up arms to fight the dark forces and save the world.

Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji, will release on September 9. It sees Ranbir appear alongside wife Alia Bhatt for the first time. The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. The film is the first of a trilogy, which sets out to establish India’s own cinematic universe–the Astraverse.
