You might have loved or hated the film, but you must still be humming the tunes. Yes, we are talking about ‘Hate Story 3’. This Vishal Pandya film which stars Karan Singh Grover, Sharman Joshi, Daisy Shah and Zarine Khan in leads, hasn’t received flowery remarks from the critics; but is still going steady in box office. However, if you ask us to point out the best part about ‘Hate Story 3’, the two songs-we’d say.

“Tumhe Apna Banane Ka” and “Wajah Tum Hi Ho”, both sung by Armaan Malik, have become massively popular. What does the singer himself have to say about it?

“HATE STORY 3 happened to me by mistake. I wrote a scratch version for my brother Amaal and left for my show. When I came back, I saw that the song was ready. I didn’t know it would go in my voice only. The rough version itself was released as the final track. That’s how I became the singer of ‘Tumhe Apna Banane Ka’- Armaan said.

How about the other song? “A week passed and there was a new song called ‘Wajah Tum Ho’. Many singers were trying for and had already sung that song. I sang one version as well. Then Mr. Bhushan Kumar (head of T-series) suggested that he would like ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ in my voice again. So then it released in my voice and even that’s doing really well. It was a surprise hit for me.”-he added.

Hmm..a surprising hit must be tasting sweet, isn’t it? “I was expecting a good reaction but didn’t know it would become so big. When I perform these songs on my shows, the reaction is phenomenal. That’s a big thing for me. In the right manner, I think ‘Tumhe Apna Banane Ka’ is my biggest song till now,”- the singer answered, with a broad smile on his face.
