Deepika Padukone recently did a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. The actress won hearts as Aishwarya Rathore. She played SRK’s wife, as well as his mother. Since its release, Jawan has been creating a storm at the box office. To celebrate the success of the film, Jawan makers hosted an event on Friday. It was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, and Ridhi Dogra among others.

Talking about Deepika, in particular, she looked beyond beautiful in a white saree with black border. The actress shared photos on her Instagram. In the photos, Deepika can be seen flaunting her sexy back. In one of the pics, Deepika can be seen planting a sweet kiss on SRK’s cheek. She shared the photos and wrote in the caption, “It’s the last one for me.”

Ranveer Singh showered love on Deepika Padukone and his reaction has a Jawan connection. The actor dropped a comment saying, “Isq Mein Dil Bana Hai…Ishq Mein Dil Fanna Hai Hooo000000oooo.”

In Jawan, Deepika and SRK’s chemistry is on point. At the event, SRK revealed that he asked Deepika about Jawan while they were shooting Besharaam Rang from Pathaan. The actor shared, “Deepika was doing Besharam Rang and I am sitting. I look at Pooja (Dadlani, SRK’s manager) and say, ‘ye ma aka role karegi? (Will she do a mother’s role?)’. So, I am looking at Deepika do Besharam Rang and I say she’ll be very good as a mother no? So, Pooja said Shah, she loves you too much, she will of course say yes but let me ask her.”

The actor further revealed that it took Deepika only two seconds to say yes to Jawan.

On the other hand, SRK also shared how he and Atlee tricked Deepika to do a full length role by telling her it’s a special appearance.

Now that Jawan has released, Deepika will be next seen in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. She also has Kalki 2898 AD with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani.
