The latest release of ‘Celebrity Brand Valuation Study 2020’ by Duff & Phelps labels Deepika Padukone as a brand favourite and received a lot of love from brands across the world. She is undoubtedly India’s most loved female celebs. Also, to top it all, she has again made a place at the top as the most valued female celebrity in the country.
Deepika moves forward from some of India’s biggest male superstars, valued at 50.4$ million.

It is believed that Chennai Express actor will have a few more brands in her kitty. Deepika who debuted on the silver screen in 2007 in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om and continues to hold a steady place in the industry. Though Padukone’s total number of endorsements did come down because she didn’t have a major release after “Chapaak”, and last year due to pandemic it was not a great year for the industry.

Duff and Phelps said the brand value of a celebrity is based purely on their earnings potential from product brand endorsements. The assessment is based on the relative brand rankings of celebrities, average endorsement fee rates, normalized number of annual endorsements, and applicable brand multiples. Deepika is followed by her fellow co-actors Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the Duff & Phelps study. Team India’s captain Virat Kohli valued at $ 237.7 million tops the list amongst male celebs in the study with followed by Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh.


DP has an impressive line of films this year. Her fans are eagerly waiting for Kabir Khan’s 83 in which she will be seen along with her husband actor Ranveer Singh. She will be seen as Romi Bhatia wife of Kapil Dev. Then she will be pairing up with Hrithik Roshan for the first time in Fighter, Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan, a remake of Hollywood film The Intern, a film with Prabhas, and Mahabharat as Drapaudi. Padukone was recently shooting for Shakun Batra’s untitled film.
