Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions’ Do Deewane Seher Mein has been building anticipation ever since the makers released the teaser and songs from the film. The team has also been sharing videos of the film’s lead cast, Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi and their unmissable chemistry.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali On Do Deewane Seher Mein
According to a source close to the development, the project found its emotional anchor the very first time writer Abhiruchi narrated the story to Bhansali. “When Abhiruchi narrated the story to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, he instantly said he felt a deep connection with both Rosni and Sasank and knew this was a story that had to be brought to life. From that moment on, the journey of finding and finally choosing the two of them became a significant and memorable process in itself,” the source reveals.
Known for his operatic storytelling and layered character arcs, the filmmaker reportedly invested considerable time in ensuring Rosni and Sasank, played by Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi, were cast with actors who could embody both vulnerability and intensity.
The eventual casting of Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi is being seen as a deliberate and carefully calibrated decision. Early glimpses of the film, along with their viral videos, have already sparked conversations about their chemistry and the narrative’s tonal depth.
With its promise of pure, happy, soulful romance, this film isn’t just a love story; it’s a gentle reminder of why we fall in love with love in the first place. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film releases in theatres on February 20, 2026.
