Bollywood producer and daily soap queen Ekta Kapoor has had a busy couple of months. The filmmaker recently became the mother of a baby boy Ravie through surrogacy. Now, a 32-year-old man has been arrested for stalking Ekta Kapoor.

According to a report in SpotboyE, the Amboli police have arrested a 32-year-old man who was allegedly stalking Ekta Kapoor multiple times in recent months. The accused has been identified as Sudhir Rajender Singh and belongs from the state of Haryana.

Singh who is working as a driver for a private cab service was trying to meet Kapoor since past one month. He wanted to get in touch with her to get a job and also befriend her. Ekta Kapoor tried to ignore him most of the time, but Singh was quite persistent and started following Ekta.

Few days back, when Ekta had gone to visit a temple in Juhu, Singh followed her there also and tried to approach her but was caught by her personal guards and he was warned to stay away from her, ” said a police officer.

The driver also acquired the membership of the gym that Ekta was going to and was frequently spotted outside the premises.

The police official further added, “We have registered the complaint under section 354 (D) of the Indian Penal Code and with the help of CCTV and some technical evidence the accused was traced from Andheri west Veera Desai road. The case is under investigation.”
