Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi is not your typical stereotypical hero. The ‘Azhar’ star has always believed in doing things, which are unorthodox and quirky. Just like his previous projects, Emraan Hashmi‘s upcoming film ‘Cheat India’ is also different and is a commentary on India’s education system. India’s education system as we all know is not in the best of health. The film promises to expose the underbelly of corruption and malpractices involved in the education sector.

Today on the occasion of National Education Day, the team of the film came forward to celebrate it with utmost enthusiasm. Emraan Hashmi took to Twitter and shared a video and wrote this message, “A country’s education system is its backbone. Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Cheat India’ is being directed by Soumik Sen. The film was also in the news for sexual harassment allegations being levelled against Atul Kasbekar and director Soumik Sen.

The ‘Murder’ star also has quite a few other projects lined up.

He will be starring in Shah Rukh Khan produced project ‘Bard of Blood’, which will air on Netflix. Emraan Hashmi is currently gearing up for the premiere of his film ‘Tigers’ on ZEE5. It has Emraan playing Syed Aamir Raza, a Pakistani salesman who fights against the rampant malpractices of baby-product manufacturers.
