Swades actress Gayatri Joshi and husband Vikas Oberoi survive a tragic car accident in Italy

Bollywood actress Gayatri Joshi is well known for the film Swades as she was seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the same. The actress was traveling in Italy along with her husband Vikas Oberoi. Reportedly, a collision took place as several cars, including Ferrari and Lamborgini, were trying to overtake a camper van. It resulted in the overturn of the van on the road in Sardinia, Italy. Post the accident, the Ferrari caught fire which took the lives of the couple who were identified as Melissa Krautli and Markus Krautli from Switzerland.

The Swades actress told Free Press Journal, “Vikas and I are in Italy. We met with an accident here (multiple-car collision).. With gods grace, we both are absolutely fine.”

Reportedly, an event of the Sardinia Car Tour was taking place during which the accident took place. The tour was about high-performance vehicles that were on a parade from Teulada to Olbia and portrayed the performance of the vehicles.
