Priyadarshan Reveals Paresh Rawal Has NOT Spoken About His Decision

Reacting to the matter and speaking to Amar Ujala, Priyadarshan said, “Before the film started, I had clearly asked all three of them – Akshay, Sunil and Paresh – if they were ready. Everyone said yes. Then we even shot for a day. Everything went smoothly. But suddenly the news of Paresh ji’s exit came… without saying anything, without giving any reason. Till date, he has not spoken to me about this.”

He further added, “No calls, no messages. Recently we completed the shooting of ‘Bhoot Bangla’. Akshay and Paresh were together in this film too. Everything was normal there too. There was a very cordial and professional relationship between the two. No tension was visible.”

Akshay Suffered Major Loss In This Case

When we asked Priyadarshan if Akshay Kumar has really filed a claim of Rs 25 crores against Paresh Rawal, he said, “The rights and production of this film were being handled by Akshay Kumar. In such a situation, if anyone has suffered a loss, it is only Akshay. If Paresh ji had any problem, he should have at least talked. Anyway, I am just a director. I don’t know what happened between him and Akshay? Neither did he tell me anything, nor did he talk. I am completely blank.”
