Imran Khan, Bhumi Pednekar To Begin Filming Actor’s Bollywood Comeback Film Soon; Date Out- Report

Imran Khan is making his much-anticipated return to the screen alongside Bhumi Pednekar, which has generated considerable excitement, and it appears that progress is finally being made. Pre-production for the actor’s upcoming Netflix film is in full swing, with all details finalized.

A source close to the film, told HT City that the shoot is going to begin in April. “The platform wants to make the first announcement themselves. Bhumi Pednekar is locked for the leading role with Imran. The pre-production work is on in full swing, and the cameras will roll in a month,” the source told. Also mentioned was that the project will stream on Netflix.

It was earlier reported by HT that the script has been written by Danish Aslam. It will be produced by him, Imran and another mutual friend. “They took the project to a streaming platform, who prima facie based on the pitch level, gave it a thumbs up since there was no full screenplay. No agreement has been signed yet, that’s only done when the screenplay is approved,” another source had told. Everything fell into place and the concerned parties have signed on the dotted line.

Since his last appearance in the 2015 film “Katti Batti,” Imran has not taken on any projects, causing him to trend on social media as fans eagerly await his comeback. But he is best known for Bollywood’s rom-coms from the 2010s such as I Hate Luv Storys, Break Ke Baad, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu among others.

Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi alongside Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh.
