Just recently, during an event of RRR, Salman Khan kind of announced that Bajrangi Bhaijaan will have a sequel soon. Right after the major hint, fans couldn’t keep calm as they were quite eager to watch the film. For the unversed, Kabir Khan directorial venture Bajranigi Bhaijaan was one of the blockbusters that shattered some box office records back in 2015. Having said that, as there’s a lot of conjectures around the sequel of the film, its director Kabir Khan has now responded to the same.

During a conversation with India Today, the filmmaker mentioned that neither the script nor the idea has been ideated right now. There’s nothing that can be shared now. He said, “I would like to only speak about 83 right now. That announcement is something that Salman did. Neither the script is written, nor has the idea been formed really. There is literally nothing right now we can talk about.

Well, currently, Kabir Khan is busy promoting his upcoming biographical film on Kapil Dev, 83 starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Tripathi and more. The film is gearing up to release on December 24 in the theatres.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is about an innocent man Pawan who meets a mute girl Munni after she was straying on the roads. After Pawan meets Munni and learns about her dilemma, he vows to take her to her homeland. He then crosses all the boundaries to ensure that a mute girl is safely reached her home in Pakistan. The movie was a blockbuster and collected over Rs 300 crore at the box office in India. It is among the top 5 highest grosser of Bollywood.
