Last week, Kriti Sanon receieved her first National Award for her impressive performance in Mimi. The huge achievement came with a lot of gratitude and celebrations too. And to mark her achievement, Kriti Sanon celebrated her win with Shilpa Shetty on a private jet.

Kriti and Shilpa both attended the Kalyanaraman family’s Navratri Puja in Thrissur. As the two actresses shared a flight for the event, they took part in some indulgence to celebrate Kriti’s win. Looking gorgeous as ever, Shilpa wore a red saree complete with jewels, while Kriti opted for a simple blush pink saree look. The two of them shared a chocolate cake mid-flight and looked to be having the best time.

Shilpa shared glimpses of it on her Instagram stories and wrote, “#Latergram: Celebratory Sunday Binge (tongue sticking out, winking eye emoji) We cheered for Kriti Sanon’s National Award (red heart emoji) Congratulations, my darling. Onwards and Upwards (partying face, red heart, kissing heart emojis)”.

Kriti reshared the story thanking Shilpa for the love and sharing her ‘Sunday Binge’ day with her. She said, “YOU’RE THE SWEETEST THANKKKKK YOU! (flower emoji, red heart emoji, kiss heart emoji) AND I DIDN’T LET YOU DITCH YOUR SUNDAY BINGE!!! YAYYY!!(tongue sticking out, winking eye emoji, pink heart emoji).”

At this year’s ceremony, Kriti won Best Actress for Mimi. She shared the honour with Alia Bhatt, who won for Gangubai Kathiawadi. Allu Arjun won the Best Actor trophy for his eponymous role in Pushpa. Waheeda Rehman was bestowed with the Lifetime Achievement Award this year.

On the work front, Kriti recently had the release of Ganapath with Tiger Shroff. Next up, she has The Crew with Kareena Kapoor and Tabu. She also has her maiden production in pipeline with Kajol titled Do Patti. As for Shilpa, she recently had the release of Sukhee. Next up, she will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force with Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi.
