I’m an Alia Bhatt fan: Mahesh Bhatt ignores question on Pooja Bhatt; is all not well?

Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani is all set to release on July 28. Ahead of the release, a special screening was held by Karan Johar in the city on July 26. It was attended by Alia’s parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan. After the screening, a paparazzi asked Mahesh Bhatt about his daughter Pooja Bhatt’s performance in Bigg Boss OTT 2, but he went on to answer about Alia Bhatt’s film.

Mahesh Bhatt ignores question on Pooja Bhatt

After the screening, the paps caught Mahesh Bhatt exiting the venue, and asked him a question on Pooja Bhatt. But he ignored it and said he is Alia Bhatt fan.  In a video that was shared online, paps were seen asking him, “Pooja accha khel rahi hai?” Mahesh asked, “Kaun?” The pap said, “Pooja Bhatt.”

Mahesh then replied, “Main abhi Alia Bhatt ka fan hu (I am a fan of Alia Bhatt right now).” When asked about the film, he replied, “Bohut kamaal ki (It was amazing).”

Pooja Bhatt is Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter from his first wife Kiran, while Alia Bhatt is his and Soni Razdan’s daughter.  Mahesh and Pooja’s equation had grabbed attention in the past after an intimate picture from their photoshoot went viral. Reacting to the same, Mahesh Bhatt had made a statement saying if Pooja was not his daughter, he would have married her.

Recently, it was reported that Pooja Bhatt is currently out of the reality show due to medical reasons. However, sources suggest that she will be making a comeback soon after the medical tests are done.

Talking about Rocky Aur Ranii Kii Prem Kahaani, the romantic-comedy family entertainer is directed by Karan Johar. It features Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles, whereas Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan essay pivotal roles in the film. The vibrant-looking film has been extensively shot in New Delhi, Mumbai, Russia, and Jammu & Kashmir.
