Mrunal Thakur makes head turns with her classy ‘Hood Couture’ look at Cannes 2023

Mrunal Thakur is acing her fashion game with one look after another at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2023. This is her debut at Cannes and she is killing it with her looks. She has already successfully made two viral moments with two iconic fashion moments. Her sheer swimsuit combined with a shimmering jacket look and her first Indian look have both set the Internet ablaze.

Speaking of her recent look, this one gave us mixed feelings. The Sita Ramam actor began her day two of Cannes in an Anamika Khanna “hood couture” look. Her ensemble has detailed work with floral and beaded work as well. The skirt was asymmetric while the top featured a turtle neck. She finished the look with earrings from Diosa and shoes from Christian Louboutin. Opting for smokey eyes and nude makeup, Mrunal chose to keep her dress as the highlight.

Mrunal has defied the Cannes fashion statement, with one unexpected look after another which garnered her love from netizens. Nevertheless, we are not quite impressed with her look. We have this solid urge to ask her to remove the hood which looked so out of place. She would have rocked the dress minus the hood which looks odd. Among all the looks she has showcased, this has to be our least favourite.

This is the first time that Mrunal Thakur has attended the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2023. The Jersey actor also walked the red carpet with other stars like Sara Ali Khan, Manushi Chhillar, and Esha Gupta. Reportedly, Anushka Sharma will also make her debut at the Cannes.
