Rajat Bedi Thanks ‘Guru’ Rakesh Roshan For Impactful Koi… Mil Gaya Role; Pens Heartfelt Note, “It Kept Me Alive Till Today”

Actor Rajat Bedi needs no introduction and its all thanks to two characters he’s played over the course of his decades-long career. The role in question are Koi… Mil Gaya’s Raj Saxena and The Ba***ds of Bollywood, Jaraj Saxena. While the first saw his as an arrogant, rich and spoilt brat, the latter featured him as someone’s whose struggles and aspirations resonate with audiences.

While his performance in the Hrithik Roshan-starrer was loved, it was the Aryan Khan written and directed series has brought him back into the limelight. Recently, Rajat met the maker of Koi… Mil Gaya, Rakesh Roshan and penned a sweet, love-filled note for the director. Scroll below to read what the wrote.

Rajat Bedi Pens Heartfelt Note For Rakesh Roshan

In his post, Rajat Bedi referred to Rakesh Roshan as a mentor figure whose faith in him early on left a lasting imprint on his career. The Ba***ds Of Bollywood actor, alongside sharing a sweet picture, wrote, “caption read, “So so happy and blessed to meet the man who gave me a role that’s kept me alive till today @rakesh_roshan9 , my guru my teacher and the most humble and talented person in the industry.”

He further added, “Sir, what a pleasure and an honour to meet you today and to have worked with you . It would be anyone’s dream to work with you and I’ve had that dream fulfilled once , would love to do it again.”

The post was also shared by Rakesh on his Insta feed.

This isn’t the first time Rajat has spoken about Koi… Mil Gaya. A few years ago, during conversation with Mukesh Khanna, Bedi praised the film but noted it didn’t help propel his career. He was quoted saying, “There couldn’t be a bigger hit than Koi Mil Gaya but I didn’t gain anything from it. I had lots to do in that film but my track with Preity Zinta was chopped off. My biggest disappointment was, when Koi Mil Gaya released, I was completely left out of the promotions so I was very disappointed. Because you have certain expectations as an actor, and you feel bad.”
