Ranbir Kapoor reveals his plans after Alia Bhatt comes back from London, opens up about his married life

One of the biggest weddings in Bollywood was with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The couple got married to each other on April 14 at Vastu with limited people in attendance. However, Alia and Ranbir didn’t enjoy their marital bliss as they directly jumped to complete their work commitments.

While Ranbir was spotted outside a dubbing studio right after his marriage and then headed to shoot his upcoming film Animal, Alia headed to Delhi for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and then jetted off to London to shoot her Hollywood debut film, Heart of Stone with Gal Gadot. As they both are extremely busy with their work schedule, in a recent interview, Ranbir Kapoor revealed his plans after his wife Alia Bhatt returns from London.

During his interview with Dainik Bhaskar, the Sanju actor said, “There was no such major change. We are together for five years. We thought that if we get married then we have done it, but we also had some commitments. The very next day of our marriage, we both left for work. Alia went on her shoot and I had also gone to Manali. When she comes back from London and my film ‘Shamshera’ releases, we are thinking of taking a week off. We still haven’t realized that we are married.”

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were dating for 5 years before taking the plunge. After their wedding, she shared the first wedding pictures and penned a heartfelt note.

The Gangubai Kathiawadi actor wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia”
