Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna recently tied the knot in a grand yet intimate ceremony in Udaipur, marking a new chapter in their much-loved relationship. While the couple kept their wedding largely private, new details from their post-wedding celebrations have now surfaced, offering a glimpse into the fun and vibrant atmosphere of their special day.
DJ Ganesh Reveals Rashmika Mandanna Danced Her Heart Out
Celebrity DJ Ganesh, who performed at the couple’s post-wedding party, opened up about the celebrations. He revealed how Rashmika brought infectious energy to the dance floor and surprised everyone with her love for Bollywood music. “It was the last celebration before they had to get back to their normal lives. Rashmika Mandanna loves Bollywood songs, and that is the reason why they got me on board. When I first got to know that I had to play, I was confused because I assumed it was a South Indian wedding. Later, I realised how big a fan Rashmika is of Bollywood music,” he said.
He further shared that the couple ensured strict privacy around the event. “Rashmika made us play Saami Saami. Apart from this, she was dancing crazily to Salman Khan’s songs like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Jeene Ke Chaar Din. At Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding, phones were allowed, at least for me, because they knew I wouldn’t take any pictures. Privacy is very important for them when it comes to celebrity parties.”
Interestingly, DJ Ganesh also revealed that he had known about the wedding since December, as guests had to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to maintain secrecy.
About Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna’s Wedding
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda first met on the sets of their 2018 film Geeta Govindam, where their chemistry quickly won over audiences. They later reunited for Dear Comrade, further strengthening their on-screen and off-screen bond. Although rumours about their relationship circulated for years, the duo chose to keep things private until their wedding in February.
The couple celebrated their union in Udaipur with close friends and family. The ceremony beautifully blended Vijay’s Telugu traditions with Rashmika’s Kodava (Coorgi) customs. Soon after, they connected with fans by distributing sweets and even hosting a meet-and-greet.
They also hosted a grand reception in Hyderabad on March 4, attended by several prominent names from the industry. Now, the newlyweds have returned to work and resumed shooting for their upcoming film Ranabaali, which marks their third collaboration and their first project together after marriage.
