Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan has been hospitalised in Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. At this time, further details regarding his health condition are awaited, and the reason for his hospitalisation has not been officially disclosed. His son, Salman Khan was seen visiting the hospital earlier today.
Salman Khan, Alvira Khan Agnihotri Visit Salim Khan After Being Hospitalised
Salman Khan was photographed leaving the hospital premises wearing a simple black T-shirt and a cap, accompanied by his security personnel. He did not pause to speak with the media.
His daughter Alvira Khan, son-in-law Atul Agnihotri, and grandson Ayaan Agnihotri also visited the legendary writer during his stay.
Additionally, Arpita Khan’s husband, actor Ayush Sharma, was spotted at the hospital.

Salim Khan began his career in the film industry as an actor in 1960, appearing in movies such as Teesri Manzil and Sarhaadi Lootera, often using the screen name ‘Prince Salim.’ He gained immense fame as part of the legendary Salim–Javed duo, alongside writer Javed Akhtar. Together, they revolutionised mainstream Hindi cinema in the 1970s with a string of iconic films. Among their most celebrated works is Sholay. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest Indian films ever made. They also authored blockbuster hits like Deewaar, Zanjeer, and Don, films that helped define the “angry young man” era of Bollywood.
