Salman Khan Celebrates Eid With Father Salim After Hospital Discharge; Fulfil Festive Tradition By Greetings Fans- Watch

On Eid 2026, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan made a joyful public appearance with his family, greeting and waving to fans. His presence outside his Mumbai home, Galaxy Apartments, on Saturday brought delight to many who gathered there. Accompanied by his sons Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, and other family members, Salim Khan warmly engaged with fans, waving and acknowledging their cheers.

Salman Khan Greets Fans With Father Salim Khan, Family On Eid

Continuing his annual tradition, Salman Khan also stepped out to greet his fans this year. He waved and blew kisses from his balcony, maintaining his custom of connecting with supporters during Eid. Due to a past shooting incident outside his residence, Salman greeted fans from behind bulletproof glass installed on his balcony for safety.

He shared a video of the moment on Instagram, captioning it, “Eid Mubarak, Thank you very much for your blessings, Dad is back home thank you (sic).” This occasion was particularly meaningful as it marked Salim Khan’s first public appearance following nearly a month of hospitalisation. Fans’ concerns had been eased by his presence after doctors confirmed he had suffered a brain haemorrhage, which was treated, and that he had been kept on ventilator support as a precaution. He was discharged last week.

Also present at the gathering were his mother, Salma Khan, Sohail Khan, sisters Alvira and Arpita, and other family members. Salim Khan’s granddaughter, Arpita Khan Sharma’s children, were also there, with Salman sharing warm interactions with them.

Salman Khan’s Upcoming Project

On the professional front, Salman’s upcoming project is Matrubhumi, formerly known as Battle of Galwan. The film also stars Chitrangada Singh. The filmmakers announced the new title on March 16, 2026, along with a new poster showing Salman in a fierce look, with a cut on his forehead and bloodstained hands gripping a wooden weapon. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash.
