Shah Rukh Khan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with his family, this year. The actor took to his Instagram to give fans a glimpse of the festivities. He made a post on his social media handle and shared a picture of Lord Ganesha. The actor shared the picture of Bappa, before the emersion. Shah Rukh Khan posted a picture of Lord Ganesha from the festivities at his residence and bid farewell to the deity. He prayed that the blessings remain with everyone until we see Bappa again, next year.

The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actor shared the picture and captioned it, “May Lord Ganesha’s blessings remain with all of us until we see him again next year… Ganpati Bappa Morya!!! (sic)

After Shah Rukh made the post, one fan took to the comments section and wrote, “Celebrating every festival, spreading love and harmony in the society, and having books of all religions on your shelf – you can carry the true essence of the culture of India..” Another wrote, “Ganpati Bappa Morya.”

Last year, SRK sent out warm wishes to his fans and followers on Instagram. The actor had posted a black and white picture of him, posing with the vermillion tika on his forehead. He shared the post and wrote, “Prayers and visarjan done… This #GaneshChaturthi may Lord Ganesha bestow upon you and your loved ones, blessings and happiness… Ganpati Bappa Morya! (sic)

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has the film Pathan in the pipeline. It stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The actor will make a cameo appearance in the films Brahmastra, and Laal Singh Chaddha that stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
