Shah Rukh Khan discharged from hospital after surgery

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan had undergone knee surgery at Breach Candy Hospital. The Badshah has been discharged from the hospital today, but he will not be shooting for any of his upcoming films any time soon. The actor has been advised a four day bed-rest, after the surgery, by his doctors.

Shah Rukh Khan who has taken a short break from Rahul Dholakia’s “Raees”. Took to Twitter and thanked his fans for their well wishes. Shah Rukh Khan tweeted,

Do they do Fequent Fliers Miles in Hospitals? If yes, I would own some of the hospitals! Thx all for standing by me as I pray on my knees…

Shah Rukh Khan’s doctor Sanjay Desai, who operated on the “Happy New Year” star, said, “SRK has undergone Arthroscopic surgery of left knee at Breach Candy Hospital. Khan has been suffering from repeated pain and swelling of left knee over the last several months… He has recovered well…”

Shah Rukh Khan has suffered many injuries in the past. During the promotion of Farah Khan’s “Happy New Year” last year, he had hurt his knee.
