‘Jabariya Jodi’: Release date of Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer pushed

The makers of Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Jabariya Jodi’ have pushed the release date of their film. The romantic-comedy, which was earlier slated to release on August 2, will now hit the silver screens a week later. Yes, the film will now release on August 9.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce the film’s new release date. He also shared a new poster of this rom-com. ‘Jabariya Jodi’ marks the reunion of Sidharth and Parineeti after ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’.

Apparently, the film (which is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shailesh R Singh) has been postponed so that their recently released film ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ gets more time to have a good run at the box office. However, changing the release date also means that Sidharth and Parineeti will now have to promote their film for one more week.

This is a smart move made by the makers of the film since their other production – ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ – has received rave reviews from critics and audiences too have been flocking the theatres to catch this suspense-thriller. Also, ‘Jabariya Jodi’ will now enjoy a solo release at the box office. So this is a win-win situation for the makers.
