Sooraj Pancholi has shut down all the rumours linking him with the recent death of Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian. The ‘Hero’ actor said that he didn’t even know who Disha was until reports of her death surfaced last month. Sooraj has even said that he has not even met Disha.

Earlier today Sooraj Pancholi was trending on Twitter. Rumours linking Sooraj with Disha and Sushant’s death case were spreading on social media like wildfire. Shutting down all these rumours for once and all, Sooraj in an interview with Beyond Bollywood said, “I don’t even know Disha. I never met her in my life. I only knew about her after her death, and then later Sushant’s death, that too through social media. I’d never interacted, don’t know what she even looked like.”

Further slamming the gossip mongers, Sooraj said, “People who have nothing to do have written it like a movie script. It looks like a script that has gone wrong. I feel I’ll be wasting my time if I give a statement to something as disgusting, inappropriate and insensitive as that.”

Stating how it’s inappropriate and insensitive to talk about a deceased person in such manner, Sooraj said, “It is inappropriate to talk like this about people who are no longer there.  Think about the girl’s family, her brother and sister, and what they are going through right now. It is disheartening not because they are writing about me but you are writing this about someone who is not there anymore.”

Disha died after falling from a high-rise building in Malad. Sr. Inspector Jagdev Kalapad, Malvani Police Station, who is handling Disha’s case, also told the same portal that Sooraj has no connection with Disha’s case.

Sooraj’s parents Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab have also slammed these rumours.
