Shah Rukh Khan shaving cream clarification

There were reports that Shah Rukh Khan has landed into a legal trouble due to a shaving cream brand he was endorsing. Reportedly, a complaint was filed against the actor by a resident of Bhopal named Rajkumar Pandey. After using the shaving cream that the actor endorsed, Pandey got rashes on his face. So, he filed a complaint against SRK for misleading people by stating in the ad that it is ‘India’s number one’ shaving cream.

However, SRK’s spokesperson has denied the reports of getting any legal notice, and has also stated that the actor’s association with the brand ended in April 2016. The spokesperson of the actor stated, “First and foremost, Mr. Shah Rukh Khan is currently not the ambassador of the said brand. The contract between the shaving cream brand and Mr. Khan terminated in April 2016. Also, we have not received any notice so far.”

Reports in HT had stated that after the complaint was filed magistrate Kashinath Singh had sent legal notices to Shah Rukh Khan, the manufacturer of the product, a local shopkeeper and the director of Madhya Pradesh Food and Drugs Department.
