Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 and ever since then his case is being investigated by the Mumbai Police. Many have asked for a CBI probe in the case but is denied every time. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has taken the final call and condemned a CBI probe on the case.

Taking to his Twitter handle Deshmukh wrote, “@MumbaiPolice already began investigating allegations about
@itsSSR ‘s unfortunate alleged suicide. Even if Bihar Police registered an offence in Patna, under Ch. 12 & 13 of the #CrPC it has to be investigated,inquired & tried by police & courts within whose jurisdiction…”

In the following tweet he wrote, “…the offence is committed. I condemn the demand for the  @itsSSR case to be handed to #CBI.  The case is now being politcised for political gains. #MaharashtraPolice is inquiring into the case professionally & are competent in digging out the truth, leaving no stone unturned!”

Meanwhile, Sushant’s father has filed an FIR against Rhea and her family members for abetment of suicide. For the same, the actress has filed a plea in the supreme court for the transfer of the FIR from Patna to Mumbai Police.
