Friends star Matthew Perry passed away on October 28 at the age of 54 and the whole world went into shock. Fans just couldn’t come to terms with the loss of the actor who became everyone’s favourite due to his character in the FRIENDS sitcom. He essayed the role of Chandler Bing in the iconic show. People felt it like a personal loss after he passed away. According to the reports, Matthew Perry passed away by accidental drowning. Reportedly, he was found unconscious in a hot tub at his house. Having said that, there were some similarities between Matthew Perry and Sridevi’s death. And it just left us in shock.

Similarities between Matthew Perry and Sridevi death

Bigg Boss 13 fame Tehseen Poonawalla recently shared a post on his X account (formerly Twitter), revealing an eerie coincidence. The first similarity between Matthew Perry and Sridevi death is that they both died at the age of 54. The second similarity is that they both died by drowning. While the cause of death for Matthew Perry was drowning in his own Jacuzzi, Sridevi died by drowning in the bathtub in Dubai. Thirdly, both of these incidents happened on a Saturday their local time. This surely left us in shock.

Ironically, Matthew’s last Instagram post was about him relaxing in his jacuzzi. Matthew, who was widely known for his sense of humour, captioned, “Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I’m Mattman.”

For the unversed, the veteran star Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018, after accidentally drowning in a bathtub in a Dubai hotel. Her death also shocked the entire nation and left fans mourning.
