Vicky Kaushal Calls Katrina Kaif ‘Warrior Mother’ During Pregnancy, After Son Vihaan’s Birth; Says, “So Proud, Love Her”

Vicky Kaushal recently expressed his admiration for Katrina Kaif’s dedication as a mother while sharing his own experiences as a new dad to their three-month-old son, Vihaan. He called Katrina a “warrior mother,” praising her resilience and strength. Having welcomed Vihaan in November 2025, the couple, who married in December 2021, introduced their son earlier this year, describing him as their “ray of light.”

In a conversation with Neha Dhupia at The Hollywood Reporter India event, Kaushal was asked, “How is it being a brand new dad?” He shared that parenthood has brought profound changes to his life. Referring to Katrina, he said, “She’s been a warrior mother—taking a break from work, caring for Vihaan, and showing incredible strength. I’m so proud of her and love her dearly.”

Kaushal added, “He’s only three months old now, so there’s not much I can do yet. I’m just here to cheer him on and wait for him to grow so I can contribute more.” He also highlighted Katrina’s role during this period. He stated, “She’s been the superhero—brave during her pregnancy and an amazing mother since. I am incredibly proud of her.”

Vicky Kaushal On Fatherhood

Earlier, Kaushal described fatherhood as a transformative experience. “Becoming a father this year is my biggest moment of 2025,” he said. “It’s a magical feeling. I thought I’d be overwhelmed with emotion, but honestly, it’s been the most grounding moment of my life.”

The couple shared their joy at Vihaan’s arrival with a message: “Our Ray of Light. Vihaan Kaushal. Prayers are answered. Life is beautiful. Our world changed in an instant. Gratitude beyond words.”

While Katrina has taken a break from work, Vicky continues with his film commitments, embracing this new chapter in his life.
