‘Badhaai Ho’ has already done splendid business at the Indian box office and has reportedly left behind Aamir Khan starrer ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted on Twitter, “Badhaai Ho has emerged a MASSIVE HIT Overseas… The film has crossed US$ 3 million in #USA + #Canada and cruised past A$ 700,000 in #Australia… The numbers are HIGHER than many star-studded films that opened in 2018, including #TOH… @comScore”

As per the report in Bollywood Life, ‘Badhaai Ho’ director Amit Sharma when asked about the phenomenal response to his film, he replied, “You can’t write or direct a film thinking that whether it will work. When you write a film, you hope that it will do well. There has to be a positive demand or approach that the film on which we are working on should do well.”

‘Badhaai Ho’ revolves around a quirky subject of an elderly couple getting pregnant and how they and the entire family deal with the situation. ‘Badhaai Ho’ has proved that irrespective of star power, content is still the king.
