Box Office Reports: ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’s weekend collection witnesses a jump, ‘Arjun Patiala’ struggles

Last week, we saw Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ hit the silver screens alongwith Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh starrer ‘Arjun Patiala’. Now, expectations from both the films were high but it was only ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ which is experiencing a good run at the box office.

As per a report in Box Office India, the Prakash Kovelamudi directorial earned around Rs. 19.25 crore approximately over the weekend. Whereas ‘Arjun Patiala’ collected just around Rs. 4.50 crore. This Rohit Jugraj directorial is literally struggling to keep a hold.

Rave reviews from critics and viewers alike helped ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ witness an increase in footfalls over the weekends. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote that this Kangana Ranaut starrer is going from strength to strength.

Ekta Kapoor, the producer of ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’, has pushed the release date of her upcoming film ‘Jabariya Jodi’. Now, that gives ‘JHK’ a clear window for one more week.  Hopefully, it will mint a good amount of money in the coming days. Hollywood flick ‘The Lion King’ is giving a tough competition to Hindi films.
