Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer L2: Empuraan had a massive opening, setting a new record for Malayalam cinema. The action thriller film, despite mixed reviews is maintaining a steady run at the box office. The film collected 4.36 crore on its third day, bringing its total to Rs 36.86 crore within just two days of release.
L2: Empuraan Box Office Collections on Day 3
According to the Sacnilk website, on its opening day (Thursday), the film registered an impressive Rs 21.5 crore, with the Malayalam version contributing Rs 19.1 crore. However, on Day 2 (Friday), the collections saw a drop of 45.35%, settling at Rs 11.75 crore. On the third day,
the Malayalam version continued to dominate with Rs 4.36 crore, while the film saw marginal collections in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages.
