Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Box Office Day 1: Ayushmann Khurrana’s Comedy Drama Opens Strong; Grosses Over Rs 5 Cr Globally

Mudassar Aziz’s Pati Patni Aur Woh Do – starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi, released yesterday and received mixed reviews. While some based the film for its content, others praised the actors’ performances and comic timing.

Despite having to share screens with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar The Revenger, Akshay Kumar’s Bhoot Bangla and Kapil Sharma’s Daadi Ki Shaadi, PPAWD managed to perform decent on its opening day and amassed over Rs 5 crore globally. Read on to know more details.

As reported by trade website Sacnilk, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do grossed Rs 4.62 crore across 6,822 shows in India. The film’s current total India nett collection amounts to Rs 3.85 crore. Overseas, the film collected Rs 1.00 crore, taking its total worldwide gross collection to a decent Rs 5.62 crore.

While the trade website noted the film’s NBOC as Rs 3.85 crore, representative of the Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi-starrer reproted the film’s NBOC on Day 1 is Rs 4.38 crore.

About The Film

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles. Written and directed by Mudassar Aziz, the romantic comedy is producer by Bhushan Kumar and Renu Ravi Chopra under T-Series Films and B. R. Studios. The film is a spiritual sequel of Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday’s 2019 starrer.

Giving the film a 4-star rating, Bollywood Bubble wrote in its review, “Ayushmann’s comic timing is the main reason you need to head to theatres to watch this comedy of errors to drive away any blues you think you are feeling.
