The grand musical launch event of Peddi, held in Bhopal on May 23, emerged as one of the most celebrated film events of the year. The star-studded evening brought together the entire cast and crew, including Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Ravi Kishan, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, director Buchi Babu Sana, and Oscar-winning composer A. R. Rahman, creating an unforgettable experience for fans.

In the film, Ram Charan portrays a crossover athlete, a character inspired by the journeys of sporting legends who excelled across disciplines before finding their true calling. Much like MS Dhoni, who played football before becoming a cricket icon, and Sachin Tendulkar, who initially explored tennis before rewriting cricketing history, Peddi celebrates themes of perseverance, transformation, and ambition.
Meanwhile, A. R. Rahman’s chart-topping soundtrack continues to fuel the film’s momentum. Chikiri Chikiri has crossed 200 million views on YouTube, Rai Rai Raa Raa has surpassed 74 million views, and Hellallallo has garnered over 34 million views, further cementing Peddi as one of India’s biggest cinematic spectacles of the year.
Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi features Ram Charan in the lead role alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu, bringing together a strong ensemble that elevates the film’s scale and impact. Venkata Satish Kilaru is the producer of the film under Vriddhi Cinemas, in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and IVY Entertainment, with co-producer Ishan Saksena.
