As per a recent update, Maalik has minted an impressive Rs 2.12 crore on Tuesday despite being a weekday. This takes its total 5-day collection to Rs 19.02 crore nett at the Indian Box Office.

About Maalik

Directed by Pulkit, Maalik is produced by Kumar Taurani under the Tips Films banner along with Jay Shewakramani of Northern Lights Films. Alongside Raj, the film also stars Prosenjit Chatterjee and Manushi Chhillar. The gritty action-thriller also feature Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Sachdeva, Saurabh Shukla, Anshumaan Pushkar, Swanand Kirkire, Rajendra Gupta and Baljinder Kaur in pivotal roles.

Released on July 11 alongside Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor’s Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, the film received mixed reviews from critics. Giving the film a 3.5 star rating, Bollywodo Bubble wrote in its review, “The screenplay is taut, packed with edge-of-the-seat moments, layered characters, and morally grey choices. It never lets up on the tension, yet balances drama and emotion with finesse. Shot entirely on real locations, the visuals feel grounded and vivid, capturing the dust, chaos, and character of the era with remarkable accuracy.”
