Abraam Pandey Naagin 7

Actor Abraam Pandey has been getting a lot of attention for his role as SKY – an army officer, in Priyanka Chahar Choudhary-led Naagin 7. Even in a show full of supernatural twists and over-the-top drama, his calm but strong presence as an army officer has stood out. During an exclusive interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Abraam opened up about his character, why he said yes to the show and whether not being the main lead ever bothered him. Read on to know all he had to share.

Abraam Pandey: Being Part Of Naagin 7 Was Never About Screen Position

Talking about whether not being the main lead bothered him, the actor made it clear that his decision was never driven by screen space but by the strength of the story. He said, “The decision was never about screen position, it was about the narrative.” He further noted that a show like Naagin 7 is built on “full-on drama, shifting forces and supernatural elements.”

Abraam further explained that his character enters this chaotic world with a sense of order saying, “As an army officer, he represents order against chaos. That itself carries authority.” Abraam also admitted that he was fully aware that he wasn’t coming in as the main lead. “Nobody can enter a running show as a lead. I was very clear about it.”

Talking about what convinced him to say yes to the project, Pandey said it was the importance of the role in the larger storyline. He revealed, “When I understood that this character is crucial and will play a big part in the climax and chaos, I said yes.” Opening about how he chooses roles, the actor shared that he follows three key factors – narrative, screen impact, and perception. He explained, “When I heard it’s an army officer, I knew the character would protect, counter, and ground the story. That was important for me.”

Abraam: Rejecting A Role Only Because It’s Not The Main Lead Is Stupidity

Abraam Pandey also pointed out that his role has already made a mark. Referring to a recent episode, he said, “The 8th March episode was largely about my character. After watching it, I felt it was a good decision.” Abraam further stated that he believes roles in uniform come with a natural respect and require a certain restraint in performance. He said, “Army officers don’t rely on too much emotional drama. They carry conviction, and audiences notice that.”

Ending on a strong note, the actor dismissed the idea of rejecting roles just because they are not tagged as lead. “Rejecting a role only because it’s not the main lead is stupidity. What matters is the impact,” he concluded.

With his growing presence in Naagin 7, Abraam Pandey is clearly proving that a strong character can leave a lasting impression, regardless of screen time.
