In November 2022, actor Chris Hemsworth shocked everyone when he revealed that he has a significantly heightened risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease due to genetic factors. After undergoing several tests, it was revealed that he carried a few elements of APOE4. Moreover, Chris also said that he wants to take a break from work and wants to focus on his family. Well, speaking about his Alzheimer disease, Chris Hemsworth revealed that he still wants to spend more time with the family.

Chris Hemsworth on Alzheimer scare:

During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the Thor actor told us, “Absolutely, I think we all make the mistake at times, thinking that we have endless opportunities to take care of the things that are important. Right now, I’m going to go do this job, but right now I’m going to do this little adventure and so on. The things that you look back on and regret or remember or the things you look back on and remember in a positive light is the time you spend with the people you love.

Chris further added, “I think the regrettable times for me and things I look back on and hopefully, I’ve learned a lesson from this. As you say being away too much and not being with family enough and missing the things that are most important. So, my kids are, I’ve got two twin boys of nine, my daughter’s 11 and I’ve spent you know the last seven months at home. I had some wonderful quality time and now kind of reinvigorated to get back to work. But also make sure I bring them with me when we can and that’s always a balance.

Chris Hemsworth is gearing up for the release of Extraction 2 and has already begun with the promotions. Earlier, Hemsworth has come to India to shoot the first part of Extraction. He even shared a few pictures and videos on social media about his visit to India.

Helmed by Sam Hargrave, Extraction 2 is scheduled to release on 16 June 2023. The movie also stars Golshifteh Farahani, Rudhraksh Jaiswal, Tinatin Dalakishvili and Idris Elba. The first part had Randeep Hooda and Pankaj Tripathi in a cameo. The action-thriller will be streaming on Netflix.
