Danish Sood On Recreating Shah Rukh Khan And Kajol Looks
Danish’s college-boy charm and Ahsaas’s refreshing screen presence bring back a wave of nostalgia for 90s Bollywood lovers. Their chemistry adds an emotional touch to the track, making it relatable for today’s audience. With its modern feel mixed with a classic vibe, Toxic has struck a chord with fans and is quickly gaining popularity online.
In conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Danish shared his thoughts on recreating that iconic SRK charm, intimidating or exciting for you as an actor. He said, “I absolutely love SRK, and the idea was never to imitate him but to pay homage to the iconic Bollywood couples we’ve all grown up watching. I actually came up with the concept of celebrating those classic on-screen romances, and we originally planned five references—but eventually narrowed it down to three because of logistics and costumes. Honestly, it was a really fun concept to bring to life. More than anything, I wanted people to feel that nostalgia, smile, and get excited remembering those moments. It’s a tribute to the legends, and it’s always a joy to create something that celebrates them.”
Furthermore, he also shed light on his chemistry with Ahsaas Channa. He said, “Ahsaas is a very close friend, and we’d always talked about working on a music video together. I was just waiting for the right song for her, and Toxic felt perfect; it had exactly the vibe I knew would suit her. When I shared the idea with her, she was instantly on board and incredibly supportive. Working with Ahsaas is always a great experience because we have this natural balance of fun, banter, and focus on the job—everything you need for a great collaboration. I genuinely enjoy working with her, and I really hope people feel the chemistry on screen as much as we enjoyed creating it.”
